So I guess this is the first post on this blog. We shall see what direction it goes, but for now we are thinking of post random things relating to make-up/beauty and cooking/eating food.
I got some new nail polishes recently from Zoya from their Nail Polish Exchange (which ends on June 30 by the way). I always seem to gravitate towards the same family of colors: reds and oranges. So I tried to get some new shades but also ended up with some similar colors to ones I already have.
From left to right, the shades are Sunny, Heidi, Maura and Whitney. I don't really know why I got Sunny, I thought it was going to have more shimmer. Heidi and Maura are very similar to 2 Milani nail polishes I have (Just Juicy and Toe-mato Red, respectively). I love Whitney; it's bright and not like anything I already own.
This is Helen, a nice nude shade, which was my favorite out of the ones I got. You can build it up to make it darker nude with more coats of polish. In the picture, I have 2 coats on.
Finally, I got Robyn, which is such a beautiful warm-toned blue. I really like it and it works well with my asian skin tone, haha
I guess that's about it for now! Keep an eye out for more yumminess to come!
